After starting his career as a semiconductor process development engineer at A.M.D., Peter Russo completely switched gears and went to design school. He cut his teeth on consumer product design and got a taste for consulting at MOTO Development Group in San Francisco, and in 2010 started millimeter/millivolt, a product design consultancy in Oakland -- where he's worked with clients across a wide range of sectors, including consumer electronics, transportation, public health, renewable energy, entertainment, and music. In 2015 Peter co-founded Nexkey, a VC-backed smart lock & access control company. Peter has a BS and M.Eng. in electrical engineering from MIT, an MS in mechanical engineering & product design from Stanford, and has played the cello since the 4th grade.
